This week we speak with Danielle Schwab, owner of Illuminate Food. Founded amidst the pandemic, Danielle saw the challenges that farmers faced with restaurants shutting down. She decided to start a food box delivery service to connect farms directly to residential customers. Danielle curates the box from local farms and purveyors. Each box contains roughly 16 to 18 items and customers can add on dairy, cheese and proteins. The box also includes customized recipes each week and there is a Facebook group to share recipes and tips with each other.
